Last updated: 23 April 2026 Governed by: UK Law

Agreement

By accessing or using RemindPal (“the Service”) at remindpal.co.uk, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). Please read them carefully before using the Service.

The Service is operated by RemindPal (“we”, “us”, “our”), based in the United Kingdom. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Service.

Short version: By using RemindPal, you agree to these rules. We keep them fair and straightforward.

The service

RemindPal is a payment reminder and invoice follow-up tool for freelancers and small businesses. It allows you to send payment requests and automated reminder emails to your clients on your behalf.

Beta & early access

RemindPal is currently in beta. The Service is provided “as is” during this period. Features may change, be added, or removed. We will communicate significant changes via email or in-app notice.

Availability

We aim to keep RemindPal available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may carry out maintenance, updates, or experience downtime outside our control. We are not liable for any losses caused by unavailability.

Your account

To use RemindPal you must create an account. You are responsible for:

  • Keeping your login credentials secure and confidential.
  • All activity that occurs under your account.
  • Notifying us immediately at hello@remindpal.co.uk if you suspect unauthorised access.

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By registering, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and up to date.

Acceptable use

You may use RemindPal only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not use the Service to:

  • Send harassing, threatening, or abusive messages to your clients.
  • Impersonate another person or entity.
  • Send unsolicited bulk email (spam) or violate UK PECR anti-spam rules.
  • Transmit any malware, viruses, or harmful code.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems.
  • Use the Service for any illegal or fraudulent activity.
  • Resell or sublicense access to the Service without our written consent.

You are solely responsible for the content of the reminders you send through RemindPal. We are not liable for how you use the Service with your clients.

Payments & billing

Subscription

RemindPal offers paid subscription plans. During beta, the Service is free. When paid plans launch, pricing will be clearly displayed and you will be notified in advance.

Billing

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. By providing your payment details, you authorise us to charge your chosen payment method on a recurring basis according to your selected plan.

Cancellation & refunds

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings.
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access until then.
  • We do not offer refunds for partial periods, except where required by UK consumer law.

Price changes

We may change our pricing with at least 30 days’ notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.

Your data

You retain full ownership of all data you enter into RemindPal — including client names, invoice amounts, and email addresses. We do not claim any rights over your data.

By using the Service, you grant us a limited licence to process and store your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service. We will never use your data for advertising or sell it to third parties.

For full details on how we handle your data, please see our Privacy Policy.

Liability

Disclaimer

RemindPal is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be error-free, secure, or meet your specific requirements.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by UK law, RemindPal shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service — including but not limited to loss of revenue, loss of data, or damage to your business relationships.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless RemindPal from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

Termination

You may stop using RemindPal and close your account at any time by contacting us at hello@remindpal.co.uk or from your account settings.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account without notice if you:

  • Violate these Terms or our Acceptable Use policy.
  • Use the Service in a way that harms other users or third parties.
  • Fail to pay applicable subscription fees.

Upon termination, your access to the Service will end and your data will be deleted within 30 days, in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or a prominent notice on the site at least 14 days before they take effect.

Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Service and close your account.
